Privacy Policy — PaintRoomCalc

This privacy policy explains, in plain language, what PaintRoomCalc does and does not do with your information. We keep it short on purpose, because the calculators themselves collect nothing from you.

PaintRoomCalc processes every input locally in your browser — nothing you type is stored on a server or transmitted to us. There are no user accounts and no required sign-up.

We use privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics to understand which calculators help people most. We do not sell visitor data to third parties, and we do not set advertising cookies by default. If advertising is enabled in the future, those ad partners may use cookies under their own privacy policies, and this page will be updated to reflect that.

Third-party vendors, including Google, may serve ads based on your visit to this or other sites if ad personalization is turned on. You can opt out of personalized advertising through the About Ads coalition at aboutads.info. Our use of Google advertising products, when active, follows Google's advertising cookie and DoubleClick cookie practices.

What we collect. Through the calculators themselves we collect nothing. Every figure you enter is computed on your device and discarded when you close the page. The only personal data we might receive is an email you choose to send us, and we treat that as correspondence rather than a stored profile.

Cookies and similar technologies. We do not set advertising or tracking cookies by default. If advertising is later enabled, third-party vendors such as Google may use cookies and similar identifiers to show ads and to measure them. Those technologies are governed by the vendors own privacy policies, not ours, and you can disable them in your browser at any time without affecting the calculators.

Personalized advertising. Where personalization is available, vendors may build an interest profile from your visits across sites. You can opt out through the About Ads coalition at aboutads.info and through Google's own ad settings. Choosing to opt out does not remove ads; it stops them from being tailored to your interests.

Data security. Because calculation happens locally, there is no central database of your project details to breach. We apply standard precautions to the parts of the site we do operate, such as the web server that delivers these pages to you.

Children. We do not knowingly target children, and the tools are aimed at adult homeowners and contractors. We do not request age or any identifying detail through the calculators themselves.

Aggregated analytics. When you visit, we may record anonymous, grouped statistics such as which calculator was opened and roughly how many people used it. These totals never identify you, and they are used only to decide which tools to improve. No individual visitor is singled out.

Regional note. PaintRoomCalc is available to visitors worldwide. Local paint names, prices and regulations differ, so treat the numbers as a planning starting point and confirm specifics with a nearby retailer.

Changes to this policy. We may update this page as features change. Material changes are noted here, and the footer date reflects the current version. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
